Monument Health Gears Up for Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
The Monument Health Daily Motorcycle Rally Tally from Monument Health hospitals in Custer, Lead-Deadwood, Rapid City, Spearfish and Sturgis will begin two days earlier this year on Wednesday, July 30. The information will be updated each morning until Sunday, Aug. 10. The report will show the number of Rally-related inpatients (those hospitalized) on the morning posted, and emergency room (ER) visits for a 24-hour period by facility.

HHS Seeks Public Feedback on Medicaid Waiver Amendment to Support In-Home Services for North Dakotans with Physical Disabilities
North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking public comment on an amendment to the state’s Medicaid 1915(c) waiver for in-home and community-based services. The waiver pays for services that help older adults and adults with physical disabilities who qualify for skilled nursing care to live in their own homes and communities. Comments will be accepted through Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, at 5 p.m. CT.

Seniors in the Metro will soon have more convenient access to primary healthcare starting late this month with the addition of a new medical clinic at the Intercultural Senior Center.
