The 2022 Leadership Huron Class recently donated $21,180 to the HRMC Foundation’s capital campaign to support the expansion of dialysis services in Huron. The class held a Vegas night event and inaugural Dialysis Dash in 2022 as fundraisers for the project, which were supplemented by funds granted by the Huron Community Foundation.

Numerous changes in society and technology is the reason Areawide Lifeline is dissolving after 38 years of service to Dawson County. With the dissolution, current board members distributed remaining assets to area hospitals and senior centers. The Gothenburg Health Foundation is one of two hospital foundations to receive funds.
