The winning ticket for CHI Health St. Francis Foundation’s ninth annual Ticket to Win fundraising raffle will be announced Thursday, June 4 at the hospital. The community is invited to join the free social festivities starting at 4:30 p.m. with official prize drawings starting at 6:30 p.m. The social event is limited to adults only.

Sanford Children’s, Children’s Miracle Network, Safe Kids Fargo-Moorhead and AAA will host its annual Safety Safari from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, at the Red River Zoo, 4255 23rd Ave. S, Fargo. The free event aims to help educate children and their parents about the importance of safety.
UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network 2026 Mediathon Raises $193,761 to Support Children’s Care in Siouxland
Siouxland went above and beyond for local children during the UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network 2026 Mediathon event from May 5 through May 7. The three-day event was broadcast live on KTIV and Powell Broadcasting radio stations as the community rallied to support local kids. Together, donors, sponsors and supporters raised an incredible $193,761 – surpassing last year’s total of $138,765.
Derby Event Support for Northern Hills Hospice Continues to Grow

Emergency Medical First Responder Departments Eligible for St. Francis Grant Funding Through June 12
CHI Health St. Francis Foundation invites emergency medical first responder departments across Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick counties to submit applications for grant funding. Supported by the Foundation’s annual Ticket to Win fundraising raffle, these grants provided resources for emergency medical training, supplies and equipment. The deadline for submission is Friday, June 12.
Annual Pony Express Ride Returns for 2026
Volunteer motorcyclists will travel over 1,000 miles across Nebraska, collecting letters written by youth and raising awareness about children’s mental health. The ride will start on Wednesday, May 13, in Scottsbluff and finish on Saturday, May 16, on the North steps of the Nebraska State Capitol, where the riders will deliver these letters to Dr. Thomas Janousek, Division of Behavioral Health Director within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
