UNMC Brings Holograms to Life in Statewide Stroke Conference

WHAT: The University of Nebraska Medical Center is redefining distance learning with cutting-edge hologram technology. At the upcoming "Stroke Transitions Across the Continuum" conference, instructors and learners will interact in real time across four campuses using Holoboxes and VR headsets, as well as interactive iWalls. This immersive experience will connect health care providers in Omaha, Norfolk, Kearney and Scottsbluff, offering a glimpse into the future of medical education. Approximately 150 health care providers – including EMS first responders, physicians, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, occupational and physical therapists and inter-professional students – will take part.
