Junior Wheelchair Sports & Recreation Camp Engages 30 Young Athletes
Wheelchair athletes from Iowa and Nebraska are taking part in the 35th annual Junior Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Camp this year. The week-long camp is held at the Iowa School for the Deaf’s Lied Multipurpose Complex and is put on by CHI Health Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute and Nebraska Adaptive Sports.

Nursing Program At The University Of Northern Iowa Approved By Iowa Board Of Regents
The Iowa Board of Regents approved a proposal from the University of Northern Iowa to proceed with the planning, development and implementation of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on Thursday. According to UNI President Mark Nook, campus leadership will work to develop the appropriate programming and curriculum in anticipation of a Fall 2024 launch.
