Presidential Author to Address IHA PAC Luncheon at Annual Meeting

Author and political commentator Carl Sferrazza Anthony will present “The First Ladies: Untold Stories of Political Influence” at the IHA PAC luncheon Tuesday, Oct. 8, during IHA’s 95th Annual Meeting. The luncheon is invitation-only for IHA PAC club-level contributors of $350 or more.

Sferrazza Anthony is the author of a dozen books about presidents’ wives and families, including “As We Remember Her: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the Words of Her Family and Friends,” “The Kennedy White House: Family Life and Pictures, 1961–1963” and the two-volume “First Ladies: The Saga of the Presidents’ Wives and Their Power, 1789– 1990.” He was guest curator for presidential library exhibits, has written for numerous national publications and was contributing editor to John F. Kennedy Jr.’s George magazine.

If you’re interested in attending the luncheon but not yet an IHA PAC club-level contributor, consider contributing today. IHA PAC is focused on policy, not politics. Contributions to the IHA PAC support state-level candidates and elected officials who support Iowa hospitals and health systems. It’s essential in a successful advocacy program's three-legged stool: grassroots, direct lobbying and PAC contributions.

Contributing to the IHA PAC is quick and easy. Use the QR code below to contribute today, or visit the IHA PAC webpage.
