Hospitalist Jacob Pederson Joins Essentia Health

Essentia Health-Fargo is proud to welcome advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner Jacob Pederson, who will work as a hospitalist.

“Essentia Health is renowned in the Midwest,” said Pederson. “I’m excited to practice in and help develop the midlevel role within hospital medicine in Fargo.”

Pederson received his education from Walden University in Minneapolis. He is certified as a nurse practitioner in critical care medicine and gerontology.

“I chose hospitalist work for the wide range of acute and critical patient morbidities and the pleasure I receive in figuring out their condition while developing a plan with the team to best care for that patient,” said Pederson.
