Free Community Event This Saturday

The Familyfest Fun Cruise is back for its third year this Saturday! Families can spend the day together cruising to businesses in the Sioux Falls area for activities, games, giveaways, and fun.

“In 2020, we had to reimagine the long-standing Familyfest event, and the Fun Cruise was such a hit,” said Steff Holtrop, owner of Familyfest. “The Familyfest Fun Cruise allows families to go directly to businesses to get to experience everything they have to offer, see the building, and meet the staff. On top of that, many of these stops have a lot of extra fun things planned and are offering discounts on services and merchandise as a part of the Fun Cruise.”

This year’s event features 37 businesses and 42 stops throughout Sioux Falls. Families can cruise to as many locations or as few locations as they’d like during the 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. event. A map, business listings, and descriptions, along with an interactive Google Map, are available on the Familyfest website to help families navigate to each stop.

In partnership with Familyfest, Sanford Oxbow Wellness Center will be the main hub for the event, where 500 swag bags will available to families on a first come first served basis (one per family). These bags have 50 items from area businesses, from brochures and coupons to sunglasses and Cracker Jacks.
