Sanford Health OccMed Receives Perfect Score In National Certification Review

For the third consecutive time, the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP) has certified Sanford Health’s Occupational Medicine program, attesting that all eight Sanford OccMed facilities are providing the nation’s highest standard of care in occupational medicine.

The review of Sanford OccMed received a perfect score from the NAOHP.  Sanford OccMed is the largest franchise-based occupational medicine program in the country to achieve this certification.

“Sanford OccMed continues its dedication of partnering with companies to provide their employees with the highest standard of care while assisting them in maintaining a healthy workforce,” said Stephanie Murdock, system executive director for Sanford OccMed and employee health.  “This certification validates those efforts for all of our locations in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.”

The certification is valid for three years, recognizing OccMed for outstanding achievement with a score of 100 percent compliance to standard. OccMed first received this distinction in 2016 and again in 2019. The current award is valid through 2025.

With a goal of saving businesses time and money, Sanford OccMed is the largest network of occupational medicine clinics in the region. It works with businesses to navigate employment exams, prevent injuries, meet safety regulations and overall keep their employees healthy and on the job.

The NAOHP was established in 1990 to encourage the exchange of information associated with the effective administration of provider-based occupational health programs.
