Essentia Health-Fargo Welcomes Hospitalist Dr. Rabiah Ashraf

Dr. Rabiah Ashraf is excited to join Essentia Health-Fargo, where she will work as a hospitalist.

“My husband is also a hospitalist and likes working with Essentia, so I decided to join as well,” said Dr. Ashraf.

Dr. Ashraf received her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

“I always wanted to help people and alleviate their suffering,” said Dr. Ashraf. “I chose internal medicine as I can educate people about disease prevention as well as treat acute and chronic medical conditions and make a difference in people’s lives.

“I am approachable and believe in patient- and family-centered care.”
