Lexington Regional's Brenna Bartruff Named SHSMD Rising Star

Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) is proud to announce that Brenna Bartruff, Chief Communications Officer, has been selected as a member of the prestigious 2026 Class of Rising Stars by the Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD).

The SHSMD Rising Star Award recognizes health care strategy professionals who have proven outstanding promise in their respective fields and who are making meaningful contributions to both the profession and the SHSMD community. Bartruff is one of four individuals nationwide selected for the 2026 Class of Rising Stars.

Since joining LRHC, Bartruff has helped transform the organization’s communications, marketing, and community engagement efforts. Her work has strengthened connections between the hospital and the diverse communities it serves, while supporting LRHC’s mission of improving the health and well-being of the region through clear, compassionate, and accessible communication.

Throughout her career, Bartruff has led initiatives designed to engage employees, patients, and community members. Her leadership has contributed to award-winning marketing programs, enhanced outreach efforts, strengthened employee engagement, and elevated LRHC’s brand presence across the region.

Bartruff also serves as a leader for LRHC’s Wellness Council, helps coordinate employee recognition initiatives, and stays actively involved in community organizations and volunteer efforts throughout central Nebraska.

The SHSMD selection committee recognized Rising Star recipients for demonstrating achievement, professional leadership, integrity, innovation, and a commitment to advancing the health care strategy profession. Recipients have already made significant contributions to their organizations and the broader health care community while showing exceptional promise for future impact.
