Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Nebraska To Administer CHI Health’s Employer-Sponsored Health Plan

Nebraska’s largest health care system and the state’s largest commercial health insurance plan are collaborating to provide health care benefits for CHI Health employees. Starting Jan. 1, 2023, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) will administer the health insurance benefits to CHI Health’s more than 18,000 employees and health plan dependents located throughout Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

 “CHI Health has a large footprint in Nebraska and southwest Iowa, and so too does Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska,” said E.J. Kuiper, President, CEO, CHI Health. “BCBSNE also offers one of the largest, most comprehensive national provider networks. CHI Health is proud to be strengthening its relationship with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
