Walk and Roll for Disabilities Set for March 1 at Oak View Mall

WHAT: The Meyer Foundation for Disabilities will host its 22th annual Walk & Roll for Disabilities. Money raised at the event goes toward adult programming at the Munroe-Meyer Institute. It helps to fund yoga club, cooking club and other recreational activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

WHEN: The event starts at 9 a.m. this Sunday, March 1, with pre-Walk & Roll festivities. Speakers will address attendees at 10 a.m. followed by a lap around the mall.

WHERE: Oak View Mall, 3001 S. 144th St., Omaha

INTERVIEWS/VISUALS: 

The event will feature Star Wars characters, face painting and a photo booth before attendees take laps around the mall.
