USD Sioux Falls Nursing Students Partnered with Lewis Pharmacy and Administered Drive-Thru Flu Shots

USD Nursing students throughout South Dakota have once again served the communities and areas where they learn by helping to administer flu vaccines at various locations in South Dakota.

The USD Sioux Falls Nursing Students partnered with Lewis Pharmacy and administered 640 drive-thru flu shots on September 15th.

The USD Vermillion Nursing Students have been busy helping with numerous community and campus based flu shot clinics throughout Vermillion. From traditional style clinics to walk-thru and drive-the clinics, these students have been busy protecting the pack!

The USD Rapid City Nursing Students have also assisted with this annual task. Lexi Shyne, a third semester USD Nursing student, administered Dr. Lori Simon’s, Superintendent of the Rapid City School District, annual vaccine at one of the clinics.
