UnityPoint Health – Sioux City Announces New Vice President Of Operation

UnityPoint Health – Sioux City is pleased to announce Brenda Larsen, RN as their Vice President of Clinic and Hospital Operations, effective February 19, 2024. Larsen will oversee operations at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s and UnityPoint Clinic locations in Siouxland.

Larsen most recently served as System Executive Director of Sanford Health. She has more than 30 years of experience in nursing and operations both at local and system levels. Larsen began her career as a nurse working as the Director of Ortho/Neuro/Rehab Services for Mercy Health System in Janesville, WI. She then moved to Sanford Health where she held various roles including Vice President of Ortho/Neuro/Rehab; Chief Operating Officer for Sanford Health – Bismarck. 

Larsen is a graduate of Rockford Memorial School of Nursing where she obtained her Registered Nursing Degree. She has a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Concordia University and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
