Buffett Cancer Center Team Develops Open-Access Tools to Help Nebraskans Understand Cancer Risks
The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated cancer center has launched two new data visualization tools to help communities in Nebraska better understand cancer burden and support local prevention and screening efforts.
One-Stop Cancer Shop Returns November 1
One Stop Cancer Shop (OSCS), an Omaha-based organization dedicated to fighting medical mistrust and bringing cancer screenings to the community, will host its last free cancer screening event of the year next month in South Omaha, in partnership with the National Cancer Institute-designated Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and Nebraska Medicine.
