McCook Agencies Complete Annual Emergency Preparedness Drill
Community Hospital, the City of McCook with the McCook Fire Department and McCook Police Department, as well as other external partners successfully conducted their annual community-wide emergency preparedness drill on Thursday, August 20, testing and strengthening coordinated emergency response efforts among local agencies.
McCook Agencies to Conduct Emergency Preparedness Drill Aug. 20
Community Hospital, Red Willow County Emergency Management, and the City of McCook will partner to conduct a yearly community-wide emergency preparedness DRILL on Thursday, August 20, to test and strengthen coordinated emergency response efforts. The drill is scheduled for approximately 5 to 7 p.m. and will take place on South Street at the southeast corner of Parker Hannifin.
Local Agencies Partner in Emergency Preparedness Simulation
A large-scale emergency drill took place Tuesday, August 5, bringing together over 50 participants from multiple local agencies to test and strengthen coordinated emergency response efforts in Red Willow County. The exercise, which began at 4:00 p.m., was led by Community Hospital’s Emergency Management Director, Stacey Aguilar.
