Acute Care Team Members Honored for Exceptional Compassion
Columbus Community Hospital is proud to recognize two exceptional certified nursing assistants: Arasely Calderon, CNA, and Marta Somera, CNA, are the newest recipients of the Sheaf of Wheat Award. Columbus Community Hospital recently presented Juanita “Pie” Mireles-Pittman with the Sheaf of Wheat Award for hospital employees who make lasting impressions on patients or their families.
Hospital Expands Pathway Program Within The Community
Many teens spend their summer break playing sports, enjoying time with friends or simply relaxing. However, 13 area high school students decided to participate in Columbus Community Hospital's Health Science Pathway program during their time off of school.
Ivory Jenson, Certified Nursing Assistant, Receives TULIP Award
Ivory Jenson, a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Progressive Care Unit at Rapid City Hospital has received the TULIP Award. This award is presented to nursing support caregivers who exemplify Monument Health’s values of trust, respect, compassion, community and excellence. These individuals make a difference in the lives of their patients and patient families, and are a vital part of our nursing care teams. Ivory was nominated by a patient’s parent.
