Sioux Falls And Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency Welcome Class Of 2026 On Match Day
The Sioux Falls and Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency welcome eleven new doctors to their program as part of 2023 Match Day. Match Day is held every year on the third Friday in March where Medical Students discover where they will be headed for Residency or Fellowship.
The Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency program welcomed nine doctors to the program, four of whom are students at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. The groups includes Madisyn Braun, MD (University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine), Nneka Chima, MD (University of Nigeria Faculty of Medicine), Samantha Gervais-LeClaire, MD (University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health), Meghan Grassel, MD (University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine), Brynna Jansen, MD (University of Minnesota School of Medicine), Meredith Keith, MD (University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine), Ethan Leif (University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine), Carla Melo de Matos, MD (Centro Universitario Christus), and Kynzie Smedsrud, MD (University of Minnesota School of Medicine).
The Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency program welcomed their 6th class of doctors to the program. The two doctors are Michelle Brosnan, MD (Georgetown University School of Medicine) and Collin Dague, DO (Kansas City University School of Osteopathic Medicine).
The new class of residents will join the program at the end of June and begin rotations at their Center for Family Medicine base clinic, as well as Sanford, Avera, Falls Community Health, and more.
