Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Welcomes New Podiatrist to Bismarck Region

Kayla Emter, DPM, a quadruple board-certified podiatrist, has joined the Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic to expand services related to foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Emter is a North Dakota native from Glen Ullin. She received her medical degree at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her residency at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.

She specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the ankles, feet and toes. As an expert in podiatry, she specializes in bunions, tendonitis, hammer toe and toe deformities, foot and ankle injuries and arthritis, fractures and sprains of the foot and ankles, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and bursitis, plantar warts and skin conditions, and ulcers and diabetic foot problems.

Dr. Emter is now seeing patients at the Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic in Bismarck, 225 N. Seventh St.
