HRMC Heart Hustle Partners with Local Fitness Centers for Free February Health Events

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is teaming up with three local fitness centers to promote heart health in celebration of American Heart Month for the HRMC Heart Hustle. Each participating gym will host a special, free class and tour, designed to engage the community in heart-healthy activities.

Prior to each class, HRMC will offer free cardiac risk screenings, including cholesterol, blood glucose, and blood pressure checks, made possible by the HRMC Foundation. Additionally, heart health education will be provided to attendees.

The fitness classes are open to adults and are adaptable to all fitness levels. Class times and details are listed below.

  • Monday, February 24 at 9:20 a.m. at The Nordby Center for Recreation for a workout focused on strength, balance, flexibility and fellowship as well as tours and membership information. Screenings will begin at 8:45 a.m.

  • Wednesday, February 26 at 5:00 p.m. at Solveig for a strength training, body weight and cardio workout including tours and session information. Screenings will be offered as attendees arrive.

  • Thursday, February 27 at 5:00 and 5:45 for a fun workout focused on strength and endurance. Anytime Fitness will offer complimentary healthy refreshments, registration for Evolt body composition scans and a door prize of a free month of membership. Anytime Fitness is offering free admittance for their Heart Hustle Open House from 3:00 to 6:00, with screenings available for the duration.

Individuals who participate in all three classes will receive a Heart Hustle t-shirt, compliments of HRMC. Join us in taking a step toward better heart health!
