Sanford Health Hosts Free Presentation On Foot And Ankle Pain

Foot and ankle pain can be debilitating, but relief is within reach. Join podiatrist Kevin Koester, DPM, on Thursday, May 16, for an informative presentation tackling common foot and ankle ailments.

The presentation will explore effective strategies for managing and alleviating conditions, including Achilles tendinitis, bunions, hammertoes and plantar fasciitis. Attendees can expect to learn about both non-surgical treatments and cutting-edge surgical procedures, including the latest advancements in minimally invasive bunion surgery.

The event is located at the BSC Basin Electric Auditorium in Bismarck. There will be a social at 5:30 p.m. with light appetizers, followed by Dr. Koester's presentation at 6 p.m. People can attend in-person or virtually through Webex. Registration is required. Dr. Koester specializes in sports medicine, running injuries, pediatric and adult flatfoot, trauma, diabetic foot care, and is double certified in foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Koester attended podiatric school at Des Moines University in Iowa, and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
