Dr. Tendler's journey began with graduating with honors in medical physiology from the University of South Dakota. This foundation led her to specialize in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Tendler also pursued a rigorous corneal and anterior segment fellowship with Dr. Michael Belin at Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Belin's expertise in laser vision correction greatly influenced Dr. Tendler's surgical approach, making her the expert surgeon she is today.
Mastering her ART
Dr. Tendler's career began at Sanford. She later joined Vance Thompson Vision as a partner for 13 years, where she delivered top-tier results. She also started Vance Thompson Vision’s first-ever medical spa, Artisan57, to complement the practice. However, her desire to forge her path and offer her unique individualized patient approach to eye surgeries led her to take the leap and follow her artistic vision by opening her own medical practice, ART Vision, a state-of-the-art vision and surgical facility. Dr. Tendler also leads ARTisan Skin and Laser Center, a medical spa that complements the oculoplastic surgeries she performs. ARTisan offers a full menu ranging from laser skin treatments to injectables to body treatments.
