Nebraska Cancer Specialists Expands Cancer Care Access with New Clinic at Bryan Elkhorn Campus

Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) is proud to announce the  opening of a new, full-service clinic at the Bryan Elkhorn Campus—marking NCS’s sixth  Omaha-area location and the sixteenth clinic across Nebraska and Iowa.

The 10,000-square-foot clinic will offer patients a full suite of services including medical  oncology and hematology, infusion therapy, on-site laboratory and pharmacy, genetic  counseling, survivorship programs, nutrition services, and mental health support.

Open five days a week, the new location reflects NCS’s continued commitment to  ensuring patients can receive exceptional, personalized care close to home in an  outpatient setting. The clinic will also provide patients access to NCS’s robust clinical  research department, helping advance the next generation of cancer care through  cutting-edge clinical trials.

“At Nebraska Cancer Specialists, we believe in being where our patients need us most,”  said Dr. Joel Michalski, President of Nebraska Cancer Specialists. “This new location  allows us to continue that mission, offering compassionate, comprehensive care while  also helping shape the future of oncology through research and innovation.”

Nebraska Cancer Specialists will be the sole oncology/hematology practice, and one of  many independently operated specialty practices, at the new Bryan Elkhorn Campus, a  14.6-acre outpatient healthcare development located at 204th Street and West Center  Road within the Privada subdivision. The campus, a collaboration between Bryan  Health and the Midwest Independent Physicians Practice Association (MIPPA), will  serve as a hub for high-quality, independent, community-based healthcare in the  Omaha metro area.

“As longtime members of MIPPA, we are honored to collaborate on this project,” said  Dr. Ralph Hauke. “Together with MIPPA, Bryan Health, and other independent  providers, we look forward to bringing expanded access to cancer care, research, and  support services to this growing community.”

Phase One of the Bryan Elkhorn Campus will include two medical office buildings  totaling approximately 137,000 square feet. In addition to oncology services, the  campus will feature primary care, specialty practices, diagnostic imaging, and an urgent  care center operated by MIPPA.

“Collaborating with area physicians and supporting our communities we serve is one of  our core values at NCS,” said Danielle Geiger, Chief Operating Officer, Nebraska  Cancer Specialists. “We’re excited to be among one of the first independent practices  bringing advanced specialty services to this growing area of Omaha.”

This expansion reflects Nebraska Cancer Specialists’ dedication not only to treating  today’s patients, but also to training future healthcare providers, advancing research,  and expanding access to clinical trials—ensuring patients across Nebraska and Iowa  benefit from the latest innovations in cancer treatment. The new NCS clinic is on track  to open in 2027.

“We look forward to continuing to be where our patients need us and supporting the  strong relationships we have built with other independent practices in the area to give  patients the care they need and deserve right here in Nebraska,” said Kelly Horn,  Director of Marketing and Community Outreach.
