Mary Lanning Wound Center Recognized for Quality

The Mary Lanning Healthcare Wound Center recently was recognized by RestorixHealth. 

RestorixHealth awarded the MLH Wound Center the Clinical Distinction Award for meeting national wound  care quality benchmarks from July to December 2024. 

“This achievement reaffirms the quality of care that the MLH Wound Center staff provides its patients every  day,” said Alexandria Donahey, MLH Wound Center Director. “We are proud to be a recipient of an award  that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our staff.” 

The Clinical Distinction Award recognizes those centers that have demonstrated success by meeting or  exceeding national healing benchmarks including: 

• Days to heal: 32 median days 

• Healing percentage: 90 percent or higher 

The MLH Wound Center is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in patients with  non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional  and advanced therapies, and techniques proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
