Learn How To Protect Employees From Falls And Hearing Loss
Jeff Springer, business development manager with Process Marketing Group, will share how to protect employees from falls and hearing loss during a free Lunch & Learn at Columbus Community Hospital.
The hospital’s Occupational Health Services is hosting the event, which takes place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, in the Platte and Prairie rooms of the hospital's first-floor conference center.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reported fall protection was the most frequently cited standard in 2021. Additionally, when employers provide hearing protection at the worksite, most think the highest noise reduction rating device will give the best protection. However, hearing protection fit testing is the best way to know if employees are wearing their hearing protection devices correctly, and the best way to stop hearing damage.
Join Jeff to learn more about these two important safety standards.
Attendees must register for the event by Thursday, July 28. For more information or to register, contact Ileana Jarecki at 402-562-4490 or imjarecki@columbushosp.org.
