Lakes Regional Healthcare Volunteers Host Annual Holiday Sidewalk Sale

Holiday shoppers can find great deals while supporting future healthcare professionals at the annual Holiday Sidewalk Sale, hosted by the Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) Volunteers and the LRH Gift Shop. The sale will be held on Friday, November 6, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm inside the hospital’s east entrance.

Shoppers will find Gift Shop merchandise marked down up to 90% off, along with a large selection of gently used holiday decorations, purses, and jewelry donated by community members. This year’s sale also features jewelry generously donated by local jeweler Silver & Gold.

All proceeds from the sale fund scholarships for area graduating high school seniors pursuing healthcare careers, as well as scholarships for LRH staff continuing their education.

“The Holiday Sidewalk Sale has become a November tradition, and it’s a true community effort,” said Jennifer Gustafson, LRH Vice President of Marketing and Retail Services. “Our volunteers spend weeks collecting and preparing donations, and every purchase helps a local student or staff member take the next step in a healthcare career. It’s a wonderful way to start your holiday shopping and invest in the future of healthcare in our region.”

The sale is open to the public. Cash and checks accepted; credit/debit cards are not accepted for volunteers’ merchandise.
