Kearney Regional Medical Center and Cancer Partners of Nebraska to Conduct Media Tour of New Kearney Cancer Center
Kearney Regional Medical Center and Cancer Partners of Nebraska are hosting a media tour of the Kearney Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide coordinated cancer care in one location.
Located between KRMC and Yanney Park, the new 25,000 square-foot center is a partnership between KRMC and Cancer Partners of Nebraska. It is designed to provide expert cancer care close to home, with a focus on comfort, innovation and personalized support. Kearney Cancer Center will offer medical and radiation oncology, nurse navigation, on-site lab and diagnostic imaging and direct access to national clinical trials. The center features semi-private infusion bays with outdoor views, as well as certified mastectomy fittings and compression garments.
The center will open later this fall.
Media are invited to tour the Kearney Cancer Center before the public to capture video and photographs of the facility. Several areas will be available to visit, including chemotherapy infusion bays with views of Yanney Park, radiation oncology, imaging and lab.
Interviews will be available with:
Doug Koch, president and CEO, Kearney Regional Medical Center
Dr. Justin Burr, radiation oncologist, Cancer Partners of Nebraska
