Jon Pociask Appointed Chief Operating Officer for Sanford Health Sioux Falls Region – South Network

Jon Pociask, previously vice president of operations for primary care and behavioral health services in the Sioux Falls region, has been named chief operating officer for the Sanford Health Sioux Falls Region – South Network. 

In his new role, Pociask will oversee operations for several clinics and medical centers in the south network, which includes facilities in South Dakota, northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.

Pociask started his career with Sanford Health in 2005 as a clinic supervisor for Sanford Children’s Specialty Clinic. Since that time, he continued his leadership path, directing operations in both primary and specialty care areas as well as Sanford World Clinic. His two decades of experience include roles within the South Network – Canton, Beresford and Vermillion – and pivotal involvement with Sioux Falls Acute Care and drive-thru COVID testing in the peak of the pandemic.

A former president of the South Dakota Medical Group Management Association, Pociask currently sits on the operations board for the Center for Family Medicine Residency Program. He has been integral in building virtual care programs, bolstering integration efforts with long-term care partners at Good Samaritan and championing the advancement of primary care and behavioral health throughout the region.
