High-Performance Training Program Offers New Training Time For High School Athletes

Columbus Community Hospital’s Columbus Sports Performance Center is proud to announce an expansion of its High-Performance Training Program.

Due to high demand, the program added an additional training session for its high school athletes. Beginning Monday, Aug. 28, high school athletes will now have the opportunity to train from 6-7 a.m. in addition to the 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. sessions.

During the sessions, athletes train in small groups of 15 participants using laser timers and advanced technology to track vertical and horizontal power. Training staff also provide each athlete with a tangible progress report throughout the program to track individual performance.

The program costs $199 for six weeks, and athletes may attend up to four weekly sessions. There is also a group training discount of $150 for any hospital employee or family enrolling two or more children.
