HAIRBALL Returns to Rock the 2026 Concert for Healthcare

After an unforgettable performance in 2024, HAIRBALL is returning to McCook for the 2026 Concert for Healthcare. The Community Hospital Health Foundation invites the community to join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Kiplinger Arena on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds for an evening of classic rock favorites, community spirit, and support for local healthcare.

Known for its high-energy tribute to the greatest arena rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s, HAIRBALL delivers an experience that goes far beyond a traditional concert. Through authentic costumes, incredible musicianship, and larger-than-life stage production, audiences are transported back to the era of rock legends including Van Halen, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Queen, Journey, Aerosmith, and many more.

When HAIRBALL last performed in McCook, the concert drew fans from across the state and quickly became one of the most memorable Concert for Healthcare events in recent years. The enthusiastic crowd, sing-along favorites, and electric atmosphere created a night that attendees continued talking about long after the final encore. Thanks to overwhelming community support and requests for a return performance, the Foundation is excited to bring HAIRBALL back to southwest Nebraska.

"We are excited to welcome HAIRBALL back to McCook," said Jessica Bortner, Executive Director of the Community Hospital Health Foundation. "Their 2024 concert was a tremendous success, and we've heard from many community members who wanted to see them return. The Concert for Healthcare is a fun way to bring people together while supporting healthcare initiatives that benefit patients and families throughout our region."

The Concert for Healthcare is one of the Foundation's signature fundraising events. Proceeds support the Foundation's mission of raising support for Community Hospital as it leads our region to a healthier future. Funds help address needs throughout the organization, including patient assistance programs, scholarships, education, equipment, facility improvements, and other initiatives that strengthen healthcare close to home.

Last fiscal year alone, donor support enabled the Foundation to provide nearly $270,000 in grants and assistance for equipment and facility enhancements, patient assistance, workforce development, education, and community health initiatives.

In addition to an outstanding night of music, concertgoers can enjoy food trucks and a beer garden hosted by the McCook Chamber of Commerce. Whether attending for the first time or returning after HAIRBALL's previous performance, guests can expect a memorable evening of entertainment while making a difference for local healthcare.

Tickets are available through TicketStorm.com and at the Community Hospital Health Foundation office. For more information, contact the Foundation at 308-344-7222.
