Good Samaritan Introducing Urgent Orthopedic Care Oct. 1
Starting Oct. 1, CHI Health Orthopedics (Good Samaritan) will offer walk-in care for orthopedic injuries and concussions, featuring exclusive weekday hours and Saturday availability. Operating alongside the clinic's existing services, the Orthopedic Urgent Care requires no appointment and is open Monday-Friday from 7:30-11 a.m. and Saturdays from 8-11 a.m.
Designed as a faster, more cost-effective alternative to an emergency room visit, the new urgent care treats concussions, minor fractures, dislocations, soft-tissue sprains and both sports and work-related injuries. Standard services include initial pain relief, splinting, casting and on-site X-rays, as well as integrated follow-up care with the clinic's orthopedic specialists and rehabilitation.
"Life doesn't follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do injuries. You'll get the same trusted care from our specialized physicians and orthopedic surgeons, just when you need it most," says Dr. Justis Stolz, MD, board certified, sport medicine. "I'm especially excited to offer Saturday walk-in hours—it's a game-changer for our student athletes following Friday night competition."
Board certified orthopedic surgeons Drs. John Wright, Dennis P. McGowan and Stacey McClure, alongside board-certified sports medicine physicians Drs. Justis Stolz and Danielle Wooldrik anchor the clinic's specialized orthopedic care.
CHI Health Orthopedics (Good Samaritan) is located in Suite 102 of the Medical Building attached to the hospital, located at 3219 Central Ave. To reach the clinic, call 308-865-2600. Regular clinic hours are weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with new walk-in urgent care offered weekdays from 7:30-11 a.m. and Saturdays from 8-11 a.m.
