CHI Health Good Samaritan Foundation Adds Three Board Members
CHI Health Good Samaritan Foundation welcomes Eric Hellriegel, Carol Lindstrom and Tiffany Shuda to its Board of Directors. The new members began serving a three-year term on July 1.
Hellriegel, Lindstrom and Shuda join current board members Jon Watts, chair; Angela Nickel, vice-chair; Cindy Walker, secretary; Dick Beechner; Krista Fritson; Ellen Gitt; Tim Mannlein; P.J. O'Neill; Bob Rycek; LaVon Clouse; and Deborah Schroeder. They replaced outgoing board members Melissa Scott-Pandorf, Rita Weber and Stephen Lowe.

The Good Samaritan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the mission of Good Samaritan: to build healthy communities by providing health and wellness education, programs and quality medical care to all. The foundation actively seeks, acquires and manages contributions from public and private sources, reinvesting them directly into the local community. The Good Samaritan Foundation is governed by a board of directors composed of local leaders who have a commitment to the importance of philanthropy and fulfilling the hospital's mission.
Eric Hellriegel, fifth-generation Buffalo County resident, brings valuable local leadership and operational experience to the board. As director of parks for the City of Kearney, he balances his professional work with civic involvement, including past board roles with the Kearney Soccer Club, Buffalo County Extension Board, Young Professionals Network and Kearney Planning Commission. Hellriegel lives in Elm Creek with his wife, Jaime, and their two daughters.
Carol Lindstrom is recently retired from an impressive 38-year career in Human Resources at CHI Health Good Samaritan where she helped shape the workforce that cares for our region and champions community wellness. A resident of Kearney, she is a dedicated community volunteer who supports various faith-based and local organizations including First United Methodist Church and Rowe Sanctuary. Lindstrom and her husband, Dan, are parents to three grown children.
Tiffany Shuda, with a heart for service and a deep commitment to the Kearney community, currently serves as the volunteer coordinator and wedding coordinator at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She is guided by a life of faith and a devotion to serving others including her support of the Kearney Children's Museum and Buffalo Hills Elementary. A Kearney resident, Shuda and her husband, Dr. Jason Shuda, are parents to six children.
