Flu Shots Now Available at Sanford Detroit Lakes

Sanford Health Detroit Lakes, 1245 Washington Ave., is now offering the influenza (flu) vaccination to patients 6 months and older.

A flu vaccine can protect the public from getting sick and protect the people around them. The CDC recommends annual flu vaccines for everyone 6 months and older, especially those at higher risk of complications including pregnant women, older adults and young children.

Sanford Detroit Lakes will host flu vaccine events from 9 a.m. to noon on the following days:

  • Saturday, Sept. 28

  • Saturday, Oct. 5

  • Saturday, Oct. 12

  • Saturday, Oct. 19

  • Saturday, Oct. 26

  • Saturday, Nov. 2

Patients can call 218-846-2000 to schedule an appointment. In addition, several Sanford clinic locations will be holding individual flu vaccine events. Find an event near you at sanfordhealth.org.
