Flu Shot Flex: Roll Up Your Sleeves At CHI Health Clinic’s Drive-Up Events

Stay healthy for fall festivities with your annual flu shot! CHI Health Clinics in the Metro are making it quick and easy by hosting drive-up flu shot events this October and November. All patients have to do is schedule a drive-up time and fill out required documentation. Appointments can be made for the entire family, allowing you all to stay in your vehicle, roll up your sleeves and get back on the road in record time. 

Drive-up flu shots will be given to patients age seven and older. With COVID-19 cases continuing to spread in the community, all patients are asked to wear a mask and remain in the vehicle while clinic staff register patients and administer shots. Eight different CHI Health Clinic locations in the Metro will be taking part in the drive-up flu shot clinics this fall. The dates and times are as follows:

“The CDC recommends flu shots for anyone six months and older,” said Dr. Michael Schoof, Medical Director, CHI Health Clinic. “We highly recommend flu shots for the whole family this season, especially with COVID cases continuing to spread. Vaccines are our best defense against these illnesses. I recommend getting your flu shot in October this year, giving you protection throughout the fall and winter months.”

Flu shots for those 6 months and older will also be available inside CHI Health Clinics by appointment or walk-in throughout the influenza season. Most insurance plans and Medicare cover the flu vaccine at no charge. For more information, visit: www.CHIhealth.com/flu.
