Essentia Health Offers Walk-In Sports Physical Blitzes in Fargo
Essentia Health will offer walk-in sports physical blitzes in early August to area student-athletes in preparation for the 2026-27 school year.
These blitzes will be held at the Essentia Health-52nd Ave. Clinic, located at 4110 51st Ave. S., on the following days and times:
4:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4
4:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6
Sports physicals are required for students to compete in school sports and can help identify any health issues that might interfere with sports performance or increase the chances of injury. Most states, including North Dakota and Minnesota, require that student-athletes have a sports physical before they can start a new sport (including any practices) or begin a new competitive season. A sports physical is valid for one year in North Dakota and three years in Minnesota. Forms are available online at ndhsaa.com (North Dakota) and mshsl.org (Minnesota).
Athletes are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Sports physicals are $57 if not using insurance. Students do not need to be Essentia patients.
These events are walk-in only. You do not need an appointment.
