Dr. Salah Dajani, Radiation Oncologist, Joins Essentia Health-South University Clinic

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is proud to welcome Dr. Salah Dajani, who specializes in radiation oncology.

“I chose to join Essentia Health because I wanted to be a part of a growing health system where I know my efforts can truly make a difference,” explained Dr. Dajani. “Additionally, I wanted to be a part of a system that is clinician-led and places an emphasis on patient care, not just productivity. That is the type of health system I want to be a part of.”

Dr. Dajani earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

“When I began medical school, I had no clue what I wanted to do,” admitted Dr. Dajani. “Over time, I realized I wanted to care for patients that are truly ill and in need of life-saving intervention, as well as those I could follow long-term. This led me to oncology and the incredible technology, and treatment planning aspects of radiation oncology won me over. It feels special to be part of a field where we use rapidly advancing technology to provide better patient care.”
