Dr. Nathaniel McDonough, Neurology Specialist Joins Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic

Nathaniel McDonough, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in neurology, is excited to join the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic.

“I previously worked at Essentia as a nurse at the West Acres walk-in clinic,” said McDonough. “I had a great experience while working there and have always heard good things about Essentia from patients I cared for during my nursing home career.”

McDonough received his education from the University of Mary in Bismarck. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I chose neurology as my specialty because my middle child was diagnosed with epilepsy at an early age,” explained McDonough. “Since then, I have been motivated to learn as much as I possibly can. A special area of interest for me is caring for patients with epilepsy and migraines.”
