Dr. Faruq Pradhan Named Medical Director for Liver Transplant

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Faruq Pradhan as Medical Director for Liver Transplant (Medicine) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, effective July 1, 2026.

Following a national search process, Dr. Pradhan was selected for this leadership role based on his demonstrated expertise, commitment to excellence in patient care, and vision for the continued growth and success of our liver transplant program.

As Medical Director, Dr. Pradhan will provide clinical and strategic leadership for the medical aspects of the liver transplant program, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient outcomes, enhance program performance, and support innovation in transplant care.
