Department Of Health And Human Services To Hold Town Hall Marking Successful Completion Of Eastern Service Area Transition

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will hold a town hall meeting in Omaha to provide an update, hear feedback, and answer questions regarding the end of the transition of child welfare case management in the Eastern Service Area (ESA) from Saint Francis Ministries (SFM) to DHHS. The contract officially ended on June 30, 2022.

This meeting will provide updates and the success of the transition of all child welfare case management services with no major gaps in assistance to children and families. Parents and other stakeholders are invited to participate in person or virtually to share comments, ask questions and receive answers regarding the transition.
