MED was proud to once again be a sponsor of the annual Go Red for Women Experience in Sioux Falls, hosted by the America Heart Association.
More than 300 community members fathered for the event at the Canopy Hotel last Friday night for the event.
The evening focused on raising awareness about cardiovascular disease—the leading cause of death in women—while empowering attendees to take charge of their heart health.
Emceed by Dakota News Now’s Cara Setzer, the program featured remarks from 2026 event co-chairs Heidi Anschutz and Amber Garry, as well as a powerful survivor story from featured guest Shawna Van Voorst. The event united guests around education, advocacy and fundraising efforts to support research and initiatives aimed at improving women’s cardiovascular health across the region.
