Children’s Miracle Network Mediathon Set For Friday

The Children’s Miracle Network Mediathon will broadcast live from the HomeSlice Group studios on Friday, May 10, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The annual Mediathon is one of the biggest fundraisers for Monument Health’s Children’s Miracle Network program.

HomeSlice radio stations 104.7 The Cowboy, 93.9 The Mix, KAT Country 98.7, Real Rock 100.3 The Fox, and Hot 93.1, along with KNBN Newscenter1 television, will all present miracle stories featuring children from the area. Children and their parents will also be interviewed on the stations, talking about how the region’s families benefit from community support through donations to Children’s Miracle Network at Monument Health.

"Each year, Mediathon serves as a testament to the strength of our community's commitment to the well-being of children," said Shawn Powers, Monument Health Children's Miracle Network Development Officer. "We are continuously humbled by the generosity and unwavering support from people across the Black Hills, working together to ensure our youngest patients receive the exceptional care and comfort they deserve."

Last year’s Mediathon raised more than $67,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. Every gift makes a difference, this year the goal is to raise $85,000. Money raised through this event and other fundraisers help our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital purchase medical equipment and fund programs for children’s services. Every dollar stays local, helping ill and injured children every day.
