CHI Health St. Francis Foundation Receives $10,000 HALLElujah Donation

CHI Health St. Francis Foundation recently received a $10,000 donation to help families with critically ill newborns or those impacted by infant-loss. Seth and Sara Yount, founders of the HALLElujah Foundation, presented the gift in memory of their daughter Halle who passed away in infancy.

The donation will directly support St. Francis patients impacted by stillbirth, extended stay in the hospital’s NICU, or transfer for a higher level of mother/newborn care. Families will receive a HALLElujah Bag containing Halle’s story, devotional, journal and other care supplies. A memorial hand or foot mold and remembrances will be included for those experiencing loss. HALLElujah Funds are also available to help pay for gas, food, living expenses and/or any need the family is facing.

The gift was made possible through volunteer fundraising efforts during the annual HALLElujah Father/Daughter Dance. More than 600 dads, daughters and volunteers attended this year's dance, created to make special father and daughter memories.

“The HALLElujah Foundation’s efforts to support other families facing the same unimaginable challenge is the definition of kindness. We’re honored that the Yount’s entrusted St. Francis to share Halle’s story and keep her memory alive. This generous donation will help many families begin to heal,” says Melissa Griffith, Foundation Director.
