CHI Health Immanuel Welcomes Ashby as New President

CHI Health names Anthony Ashby, FACHE, MBA, as the next president of CHI Health Immanuel. Ashby will transition into the role on Sept. 15, 2024, after serving as the hospital’s interim president since April 2024. Ashby has been a valuable part of the Immanuel team since 2019 when he took on the role of vice president of operations at the hospital.

“Anthony has a deep understanding of our hospital’s operations and goals, and has been instrumental in helping support the Immanuel leadership team,” said Dr. Cary Ward, CHI Health Market President for Nebraska and Iowa. “I am confident Anthony will be a great fit and will continue to build upon Immanuel’s legacy of providing the best care to the North Omaha community.” 

Ashby holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Baltimore. In addition to his work at CHI Health, Ashby serves as president of the Nebraska and Western Iowa Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is also the chair of the Nebraska Hospital Association’s workplace violence task force.
