Center For Family Medicine Welcomes Dr. Jenna Wickersham As Site Director. 

Center for Family Medicine is pleased to welcome Jenna Wickersham, DO as the new Site Director for the Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency. 

Dr. Wickersham graduated the University of South Dakota in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and completed medical school at A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO in 2014. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Wickersham joined the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency in 2014, graduating from the program in 2017. 

She spent the following 6 years at the Avera Medical Group in Pierre as Family Physician and Chief of Staff. 

Established in 2018, the Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency is the rural training track and sister program to the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency. Two residents are accepted to the program each year, with the first year of residency being completed in Sioux Falls, while the remaining two years are spent in Pierre. Residents serve as primary care providers at both the Sanford and Avera Medical Groups in Pierre.
