Bellevue Family Practice Wins Most Engaged Clinic Award From Nebraska Health Network

Bellevue Family Practice PC was honored as the 2023 Most Engaged Clinic at the 2023 Nebraska Health Network Fall Provider Meeting on Oct. 10.

Nebraska Health Network honors individuals or teams who, in the previous year, strengthened the work of our accountable care organization. The awards recognize honorees for their inspiring leadership, implementation of innovative practices and efforts to embrace and advance value-based care initiatives.

“Bellevue Family Practice is a perfect example of a clinic that leverages the ACO to improve patient care delivery,” said Mike Romano, MD, NHN chief medical officer. “They consistently meet cost and quality measures and work to provide the best possible experience for their patients.”

Bellevue Family Practice leverages data from the ACO to proactively identify patients in need of care, ensuring that all patients complete important preventive screenings for cancer or other chronic conditions. A progressive clinic, Bellevue has implemented transitional care management software to strengthen communication with patients throughout their care journey.

Bellevue Family Practice’s Office Manager, Rachel Pridham, works closely with the NHN team to educate and engage her providers. “Rachel is passionate about setting her clinic up for success both now and in the future,” said Joni Cox, BSN, RN, Lead Population Health Coordinator at the NHN.

Bellevue Family Practice is an independently-owned medical clinic founded by Robert Saniuk, MD, in 1983. In 1991, James Biskup, MD, joined as a partner. The clinic earned the Best of Bellevue designation five years in a row from 2018 to 2022. Dr. Biskup was named one of 35 NHN Provider Champions who help promote the ACO, identify best practices and engage their peers.
