Becker’s Hospital Review Names Roger Reamer Among Top CEOs to Know
Roger J. Reamer, CEO of Memorial Health Care Systems, was named as one of Becker's Hospital Review’s 90 Critical Access Hospital's CEOs to Know. Under Becker’s Review leadership and guidance, their hospitals have achieved success and earned recognition from multiple reputable organizations.
Reamer has received this recognition in the past. Reamer stated, “This award is an honor not for me but for our entire organization. The recognition shows how consistently dedicated our team is to completing incredible work in an effort to meet our mission.” Reamer has served as CEO of Memorial Health Care Systems for 24 years. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. Reamer serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Prairie Health Ventures and President of Board of Directors for Rural Comprehensive Care Network of Nebraska. Currently, he is on the board of Seward County Chamber and Economic Development and the Nebraska Hospital Association Member Services. Reamer has served on the Board of Directors for the American Hospital Association, UNMC Board of Counselors, Nebraska Hospital Association, Bryan Health School of Sciences and Four Corners Public Health.
The top Critical Access Hospitals and CEO’s to Know were selected from the Chartis Center for Rural health’s Critical Access Hospital list. The determining factors for the top hospitals are based on the results of the Hospital Strength Index and its eight performance measures, based on data for: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient survey results, cost, charge and financial efficiency.
