Area Nursing Students Benefit from Bowden’s Generous Donation

Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C. is once again the grateful recipient of a generous donation from Neal & the late Marie Bowden of Yankton. The Bowden’s have taken an active role in helping to support healthcare education by assisting area nursing students currently enrolled in a program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Their generous donation helped fund scholarships to nursing students chosen by the Yankton Medical Clinic Physician Scholarship Committee who met scholarship qualifications.

They understand the need for nurses in our communities. It is our pleasure to help the Bowden’s fulfill their mission of supporting healthcare education by offering these scholarships through our clinic. Our scholarship program was created because of our roots in education, and to provide resources for students, with a desire to return to our service area, to seek higher education. We are proud to offer this program and deeply appreciate the Bowden’s support.”
