Fremont Autism Care for Toddlers Clinic to Celebrate Grand Opening

WHAT: The University of Nebraska Medical Center Munroe-Meyer Institute is celebrating the opening of its first Autism Care for Toddlers Clinic outside of the Omaha metropolitan area. The new clinic is a vital step in expanding access to early autism intervention and support services for families in the Fremont area.

ACT Clinics are a community outreach program, providing one-on-one early intervention services to toddlers with autism spectrum disorders.

WHEN:  5:30 p.m. on July 2

WHERE: Fremont ACT Clinic, 1900 East Military Ave., Suite 220

INTERVIEWS/VISUALS:

The event will include a brief program and ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as guided tours of the clinic. Interviews will be made available with:

  • Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, University of Nebraska System president

  • H. Dele Davies, MD, University of Nebraska Medical Center interim chancellor

  • Clinic staff

  • A family that has used ACT Clinic services

Interviews will be available after the speaking portion of the event.
