Two-day workshop focuses on charge nurse roles and responsibilities

A Charge Nurse Leadership Development Workshop is scheduled Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Thursday, Oct. 3, at the IHA Conference Center in Des Moines.

This two-day workshop will focus on the charge nurse role and help newcomers and experienced nurses. The program will cover:

• Conflict resolution

• Effective communication

• Leadership styles

• Successful delegation

• Time management

Though it is geared toward the charge nurse, the workshop will benefit all nursing leaders who want to improve their leadership skills.
